FARMERS' MARKET SALES (WITH A VEHICLE TO LOAD ITEMS)
Working our farmers’ markets is fun and a space where you can connect with many people. It’s a perfect role for someone who can creatively engage and interact with a lot of people, find different avenues of getting customers to visit the booth and try a sample, easily educate on the value of the products, and doesn’t mind setting up/tearing down the booth display. You are the representation of our brand, so staying upbeat, having fun, being positive and respectful is a must. A lot of our audience are kids so it's a plus if you love engaging with kids.
Job Requirements
MUST HAVE AND BE WILLING TO USE PERSONAL VEHICLE FOR WORK. Valid driver license and clean driving record are required. This vehicle must be either a hatchback, truck, small SUV, van or minivan, wagon or some type of vehicle that can hold market setup and products (i.e., canopy, large ice chest, tables, etc.)

Must be able to lift 50+lbs. Ice chests with product and canopy.
Farmers Market locations can be in the Los Angeles and/or Orange County areas. Pickup and drop-off location for product and setup is in Huntington Beach. So, to be clear, you will be picking up products and setup in Huntington Beach, then driving to the farmers market to sell, and returning back to Huntington Beach to drop off everything Market times are usually from 9am-2pm or so. Plan for these shifts to be 7am-3pm (includes driving time). We will do our best to make this as convenient as possible.
Starting pay is $130 per market with commission bonuses of up to $200 a day.
Responsibilities
- Knowledgeable about our products, target audience/niche, and industry
- Educate and engage customers about the products and its value
- Network and track possible opportunities to sell at other various channels/co-partnerships
- Document product inventory before and after markets
- Set business goals
- Collect customer information for customer loyalty programs
- Run sales transactions through card reader or collect cash
- Pass out pre-packaged samples
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Must be able to have transportation to work
- Have a vehicle that can fit an expandable 10x10 canopy (50lbs), cooler with wheels, foldable table, rollup banner, and a box with display items
- Setup/teardown at farmers markets (involves putting up a canopy)
- Bend and lift up-to 50+ pounds
- Stand for extended periods of time

DRIVER (Looking for one driver)
We are looking for a dependable and responsible driver willing to drive on the weekends from Huntington Beach, CA to the farmers markets (occasional events/festivals) in the Los Angeles area or the Orange County area to do drop-offs and pick-ups. Our driver is responsible for picking up items (canopies, coolers, signs, tables, displays, products, etc.) and dropping off at the different farmers markets locations. When the markets are over, our driver will pick up items from the drop-off locations and drive it back to Huntington Beach. We could possibly provide you with a vehicle.
Starting pay: TBD
Responsibilities
- Valid Driver License and clean driving records are required
- Be on time at the farmers’ market (each market expects vendors to be at the market at a specific time or we will get fined)
- Occasionally pack items in the vehicle
- Lift up to 50+ lbs. and take items in and out of vehicle
- Unpack certain items in the vehicle and document inventory

BAR CRAFTER (Need ONE backup crafter)
Looking for individuals who can make bars in our small business home. Upbeat positive attitude, dive right in, help improve processes, help other teammates. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and well organized.
Starting pay is $15 an hour.
Responsibilities
- Combine ingredients in mixer and transport mixture to pans and then freezer
- Maintains a clean and sanitized kitchen and preparation area
- Prepare and fill dried ingredients in empty containers
- Prepare prep work for “Bar Wrappers” shift
- Occasionally grind chia seeds in blender, cut parchment paper and foil, add labels to bags, packaging component, wrapping etc.
- Help with wrapping samples once a month (optional)
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:
- Bend and lift up-to 50 pounds
- Move inventory from storage to shelf/preparation areas
- Repetitive movement of hands (lift heavy mixing bowl, add mixture to pan, press mixture, move batches/products around)
- Daily work with knives, mixers, bakeware and utensils
- Stand and sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to have transportation to work
Qualifications
- Holds a state and/or local food handlers’ card (online course available)
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor during stressful and busy times
- Flexible with longer work hours during big event preparations
- Follow small business procedures for safety, proper food handling, and sanitation according to local, state, and federal health code regulations
- Must be 18 years of age or older or in accordance of state law
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Masks, hair net, and gloves required during work hours
Schedule
- 4.5-hour shift on Tuesdays and/or Wednesdays
- Evening Shift: 3:30pm-8:00pm

Personal Assistant
Looking for someone who is well-organized, has great time management skills and be able to work without a lot of guidance. Excellent verbal and written communications skills, MS Office + Google email/calendar knowledge, and can keep many projects at discretion and confidential. Ability to organize daily workload priorities, capacity to meet deadlines, follow through, and be flexible during high peak seasons (holidays). This role includes administrative, management and marketing duties.
Responsibilities
- File and organize electronic documents (Dropbox, Google Doc, Asana)
- Act as the point of contact among vendors, contractors, employees, and customers
- Manage multiple calendars (editorial, events, meetings)
- Assist in putting together processes and training manuals
- Purchase supplies and ingredients
- Manage team schedule
- Handle receipts, expenses, and bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Run reports (QuickBooks, Shopify, Venmo, Card Reader activities)
- Data entry (sales, customer info, etc.)
- Social media schedule, comments/message management
