WHY AND HOW I STARTED THE BUSINESS

I was always on the move—juggling work, meetings, travel, and the constant rush of everyday life. In the chaos, granola bars became my quick fix. While they seemed like a healthy choice, they never really kept me full or fueled. When I started reading labels, I was shocked to find that most of the bars I was eating were packed with sugar, additives, and preservatives—far from the wholesome snack I was hoping for. That’s when the idea hit me: why not make my own?

I shared my first batch with my sister, and she loved it. Encouraged, I passed it around to a few coworkers, and one of them suggested I turn it into a business. It was an idea I’d never considered, but suddenly, it felt like a spark had been lit.

I didn’t want Yummmm!Bar to be just another snack. I wanted it to be something that made people feel good—physically, mentally, and emotionally. A bar that wasn’t just tasty, but healthy, filling, and functional. I even remembered freezing candy bars for that extra “yum” factor—so, why not do the same with Yummmm!Bar?

I began sharing Yummmm!Bar wherever I could—at work, in line at the grocery store, at farmers' markets, and at the gym. For five years, I was stuck in the “what if” cycle—What if it doesn’t work? What if I fail? But in 2021, I finally took the leap. I walked away from my corporate job and dove into Yummmm!Bar full-time—no safety net, just a lot of granola bars and hope.

Yummmm!Bar quickly became more than just a snack—it became a movement. Seeing families share stories about how much they love the bars, meeting incredible people, and watching kids grow up with Yummmm!Bar has been the most rewarding experience.

Our mission is simple: to create a snack community that values better choices without sacrificing taste. Because life throws challenges at us, but with the right fuel, we can take them on—one delicious bite at a time.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I used to rush through life, juggling commitments and living in a constant state of motion. But everything changed when my dad had a spinal injury. His words, "Nothing is more important than your health," stuck with me and sparked a shift. I began to live with more purpose, intention, and balance.

Yoga has been my grounding practice for over 16 years, and I’ve been teaching for 9 years. Meditation is my daily ritual to start each day centered. I love staying active—whether trying new workouts like Pilates, boxing, or trampoline—or exploring wellness practices like acupuncture, deep tissue massage, and cupping. Lately, I’ve found peace in the ritual of Tea Ceremonies.

Outside of my practice, adventure calls. Whether it's surfing, running on the beach, hiking, or simply enjoying the sunrise, I love being outdoors. My passion for plants also keeps me grounded—my home is filled with over 20 indoor plants, and I grow herbs and veggies in my garden. One day, I dream of creating meals from my own “farm-to-table” produce.

Community is at the heart of everything I do. I love connecting with others—whether through yoga, farmers' markets, or meals with friends and family. Reading personal growth books keeps me inspired, and I’m especially passionate about traveling, especially to third-world countries, where I can immerse myself in new cultures and ways of life.

For me, it’s all about living fully, embracing new adventures, and finding what truly makes life rich—whether through a practice, an adventure, or a meaningful connection.
